La série VW a deux types de lumières permutables, la lumière blanche ou UV. Ce modèle a une grande distance de fonctionnement et un filtre pour retirer la lumière UV réfléchie de manière à obtenir une image avec des couleurs naturelles. La longue distance de travail allant jusqu'à 15 cm permet de travailler sous le microscope.
Ce modèle est enveloppé de métal aluminium pour plus de protection et durabilité, qui le rend aussi plus esthétique et agréable à utiliser.
