KM-01 kan användas för att styra Dino-Lite fokuseringshjul utan att beröra anordningen. Detta är särskilt användbart när Dino-Lite behöver isoleras vid användning.
Pekkontroller på den hållbara KM-01 styrbox ger omedelbar respons. Men KM-01 kan även styras med Dinocapture 2.0 programvara. KM-01 kan monteras på RK-04/RK-05/RK-06A/RK-10A Dino-Lite stativ, eller på 3:e parts stativ med en pelare på 10 mm i diameter.
