Recent related issue: DinoXcope error: “unidentified developer” / “can’t be opened because Apple..”
DinoXcope appears to start but the software does not open
Sometimes DinoXcope fails to start when the program has crashed or was closed improperly, to resolve this please use the Activity Monitor to force the DinoXcope process

1 Locate and open the Spotlight search on you Mac Menu bar (Typcially this is in the top-right hand corner of the screen) | |
2 Type “Activity Monitor” into the search field and select the Activity Monitor application from the search results. | |
3 Locate the search bar in the top-right corner of the Activity Monitor windows and type “DinoXcope”. | |
4 After selecting DinoXcope from the search results, locate and click the “X” or terminate process icon in the top-left corner of the Activity Monitor screen. | |
5 Close the Activity Monitor application and relaunch the DinoXcope software. |
